Visit to the restaurant on October 8th, 2020 The food was good overall. The taste of the salad was ok, the sauce was too heavily seasoned and went slightly sour. The Flädele soup was served warm instead of hot and we know how quickly it cools. I had ordered a small amount of water, but got a large one which wasn't even half drunk. The onion pie was delicious. The service is nice. Toilets were very clean.

I was there from September 25th to 27th. with 9 geocachers as guests in this quaint hotel. My rating: Friendliness 5 ⭐ Room 3⭐ Cleanliness 5⭐ Breakfast 3 ⭐ Restaurant meal 5⭐ Price / performance 4⭐ Even if there are quirks ..... I would stay here again anytime !!!!!

Price-performance ratio is not right here. The rooms make a loveless impression. In our room part of the wall was not painted. That looks impossible. Terrible wall tattoos on the walls, which might be a matter of taste - but they just looked cheap. Very badly soundproofed, if the neighbor opens or closes the door you are immediately awake. Very thin blankets with uncomfortable bed linen. The small heater in the bathroom was full of dust and hair. Little choice at breakfast. Would neither recommend nor come back. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and hard-working.

An inn with a standard kitchen that did not cause any storms of enthusiasm. A pizzeria is located in the adjacent building. Since we only visited the gastronomy area, our rating only refers to it.

Very good hotel shines with very nice and courteous staff! Excellent cuisine. Regional wines. Comfort room very spacious and comfortable. There are small drawbacks in the background noise ... our rooms were located above the basement where people cleared loudly until 0.30 a.m. and from 7.00 a.m. ... with open windows and balcony door a small penalty ... perhaps unavoidable in a narrow and grown old town.

Great restaurant: very delicious food, always friendly staff, even if everything was always full (3 evenings in a row) when the weather was great outside, I can only recommend you sit down and enjoy the great food and the nice atmosphere! Would come again anytime!

Good home-style dishes. Great atmosphere, cleanliness is good. Inexpensive. Sometimes the staff seem overwhelmed.

Unbelievable how this team takes care of the guests! Kitchen has a great price / performance ratio, absolutely great in taste, great offer from local to Italian cuisine, we can only recommend it.

We spent her night here on our return trip home. A great hotel with friendly service. Even the guests here were friendly. They also have a good restaurant with well-stocked plates. The hotel room is fine, everything is there.

Top restaurant with great cuisine (even German and Italian) and first-class staff. Food was delicious, fruit ice cream a sensation! Beer tasty. We were 6 people and on the bike. Everything was satisfied. A star deduction because the rooms are very noisy. Otherwise everything was very clean and nicely decorated. Super value for money. THANKS - we would come again.

We have known this restaurant for several years. Every time we are amazed by the friendliness and the really good food. The menu is extensive and in connection with the Italian menu you can choose between regional and international dishes. The prices are reasonable for the really good food. We always like to come here.

I had not mentioned the beds, or even better the mattresses. I have not slept so badly for years and slept accordingly.

A place to chill

I really enjoyed my experience in this hotel. The interior design of the room was strange for me, but that made the experience rather interesting and remarkable. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was big with everything I needed. The hotelrestaurant is also a good place to eat. From the breakfast I was really impressed. Huge variety and plenty. In the evening I ate there too. The meal and the beer that I choosed happened to be really good. A bit odd for my taste but hey its tourism. Strange is good when it is interesting and for me it was. The hotel is located at the centre of the town and that was another plus for me. Every place that I needed or wanted to visit was maximum 1.5 km away. Well I would visit this hotel again.

Rooms were very spacious for German standards. They had some very fun furniture and decorations in my room that was an ecclective mix of styles. There is both a restaurant and open air bar in the hotel, but they do close at 11pm. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was included. It was nice to be able to sit outside for breakfast however there wasn't much staff support of it. It did seem that the bread was stale and the milk spoiled so this was a low point. The bed was also not so comfortable for me personally. It was a cool place and the town small but interesting. Would have given it 5 stars except for the bed and stale breakfast.

The food and in particular the service could have been better and nicer. Good place for a beer and a flammenkuche in the afternoon. I think there are better places around for your evening dinner...
